Sara began painting professionally after experiencing a life-changing event. Painting began for her as therapy and a channel for healing. The colors and subject matter in her earlier work reflect very raw human emotion. As she started healing and becoming more hopeful for the future, the colors became brighter and the subject matter more cheerful and enlightening, representing hope and new beginnings. Each piece grows and changes as she works, evolving similarly to a person, developing its own style and personality. Sara loves to play with texture, color, and uncommon objects such as feathers and gemstones in her paintings. Her work is full of life, hope, passion and love. While Sara paints, she puts as much positive energy and flow into each piece as possible. Painting is now her "happy place." She draws inspiration from music, nature, design, food and interesting, forward-thinking people. Sara has shown her work throughout the US and is also an internationally published artist.
